Turmeric milk with ginger, cinnamon, black pepper and coconut oil
- 1 cup of almond milk
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 piece of ginger (1/2 inch), peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- raw honey to taste
Mix all ingredients, except raw honey, in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cook over low heat for a minute.
Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
Sweeten with raw honey to taste and serve.
